Where to Eat

If you stay at the Heerlen Motel, then the restaurant there is excellent.

I can't say for the other hotels.

But if you want to eat out, I've always found Heerlen to be a terrible place to find somewhere to eat.

So my recommendation is to travel 10 miles South West down the A79 to Valkenburg. The town comes alive at night, and there are more bars, cafes and restaurants than you can imagine. And the shops stay open late on Saturday too.

Monday Morning

Please note that after the weekend, in some towns, Holland only comes back to life at Midday Monday. (Sound like a good plan to me). Shops don't usually open until 1pm.
